I have been thinking about the Oura ring for YEARS and this is getting me closer to actually buying one. I wish the ring was a tiny bit thinner / less wide, but I'm sure it needs all the surface area it can take to be accurate.

It is definitely a chonk! There are lots of TikToks about how to style it a bit with really thin pavé bands. I did talk to a product manager for the Oura Ring 4, and you're 100% right that the sensors are the reason for the width. Wouldn't count out that it may get thinner in the future though, their engineers are SMART

I'm with you—I love it!—but a friend recently bought it and was horrified I didn't warn her that it has a tiny green light that kept her awake all night. I think I sleep with my hands under the covers so I never really noticed this...

Wow I literally would never notice that -- but I do sleep with a sleep mask and hands under my pillow. I wonder if the silicone cover others mentioned would help with that?

I used my FSA money to buy mine, and I love it! And I use a silicone cover to protect the ring when working out.

I can never stick to a fitness tracker because I always take it off my wrist when it doesn't look good with my outfits.....maybe the solution I need?!

I still think I'd lose momentum when it needs to charge lol....

If it helps, this charges way faster than other fitness trackers I’ve tried! I haven’t worn my Apple Watch in over two weeks…

You can get silicone covers that prevent it from being scratched. We use those while lifting. Though I do still remove it while I’m deadlifting.
